Simpson Strong-Tie HDQ/HHDQ Low Deflection & High Load Holdowns with SDS Structural Screws

The Simpson Strong-Tie HDQ/HHDQ Low Deflection and High Load Holdown is designed for high loads and provides ease of installation. The unique design of the seat in this holdown allows installation raised above the sill plate and greatly minimizes deflection under load. The HDQ/HHDQ comes with Strong-Drive® SDS Heavy-Duty Connector Screws, which install easily, reduce fastener slip and provide a greater net section than bolts.  Please Note: You should always check with an engineer and/or building department if you are making structural changes to any project.
