The Simpson Strong-Tie HRS and HTP Plate Ties are designed to resist tension forces between two wood members. The HRS6, HRS8 and HRS12 can be installed on the edge of 2x members. The HRS416Z is designed for 4x members. The HTP Plate Strap is designed to resist tension when installed on the side of 2x4 or larger members.These straps are load-rated, precut straps designed for quick installation and optimal performance.  Please Note: You should always check with an engineer and/or building department if you are making structural changes to any project.
