The Simpson Strong-Tie HDQ8-SDS3 holdown combines low deflection and high loads with ease of installation. The unique seat design of the HDQ8 greatly minimizes deflection under load. (20) 3" SDS Simpson Strong-Tie® Strong-Drive® screws are included which install easily, reduces fastener slip and provide a greater net section area of the post when compared to bolts. They may be installed
either flush or raised off the mudsill without a reduction in load value.

Standard G90 Zinc Galvanized Coating Information
Standard G90 Zinc Galvanized Coating contains 0.90 oz. of zinc per square foot of surface area (total both sides). This coating provides a low level of corrosion resistance and should be used in dry environments.
