The APVST610 flat strap works for 4x lumber in both nominal and rough sizes. It can be used to connect two 6x beams together or add to any project as a decorative accent. These straps are easily installed with Outdoor Accents structural screws and hex-head washers.

ZMax® Galvanized Coating Information
ZMax® Coating is a thicker coating (galvanized per ASTM A653 with a G185 coating) than the standard hot-dip galvanized coating (galvanized per ASTM A653 with a G90 coating). This thicker coating is available on select Simpson Strong-Tie connectors. Due to this increased galvanized thickness these connectors would be expected to have a longer service life than standard galvanized connectors.
