The Simpson Strong-Tie HL57 Heavy Angle is designed for high-capacity wood-to-wood connections where superior strength and load transfer are required. Manufactured from heavy-duty 7-gauge steel and finished with a standard G90 galvanized coating, the HL57 provides dependable performance in structural framing, timber construction, and reinforcement applications. Its heavy L-shaped design and 1/2" bolt holes help create strong right-angle connections capable of resisting uplift, lateral, and diagonal forces. The HL57 can be installed with through bolts or lags, and can also be used to connect lumber to concrete with appropriate anchors.
