Head is Painted Sienna!

The Simpson 2-3/8" X .120" Stainless Strip Full Head Gun Nail is manufactured from Type 304 Stainless Steel. The head is painted sienna to match siding or decking when applicable. The countersunk casing head with a checker pattern on the head helps the nail blend with the wood grain. The annular ring shank increases pull-out resistance thus decreasing chances of the nails backing out over time.

Type 304 Stainless Steel Information
Type 304 stainless steels are nickel chromium austenitic grades of stainless steel and are inherently non-magnetic. Fasteners made from Types 304 stainless steel are compliant with the 2006, 2009, and 2012 International Building Code, section 2304.9.5 and the International Residential Code 2006, Section R319.3 and 2009 and 2012, section R317.3. Types 304 stainless steel are not hardened by heat treatment.
