The Simpson Strong-Tie Outdoor Accents APRTA2 Decorative Rigid Tie®Angle is designed to connect two 2x wood members at a 90° angle. This Rigid Tie angle fastens the members on two sides, eliminating the need for angle bracing. Manufactured to high-quality standards to ensure solid performance, this Rigid Tie connector features ZMAX® galvanization with a black powder-coat finish for added corrosion resistance. As part of the Outdoor Accents Accessories line, this decorative hardware connector can be used with either the Mission Collection® or Avant Collection™, as well as separately to add flair to any outdoor project.

ZMax® Galvanized Coating Information
ZMax® Coating is a thicker coating (galvanized per ASTM A653 with a G185 coating) than the standard hot-dip galvanized coating (galvanized per ASTM A653 with a G90 coating). This thicker coating is available on select Simpson Strong-Tie connectors. Due to this increased galvanized thickness these connectors would be expected to have a longer service life than standard galvanized connectors.
