The geometry of the Simpson Strong-Tie SB7/8x24HDG 7/8" x 24" Hot Dipped Galvanized anchor bolt is the latest development in high capacity anchors. The smooth transition angle of the bolt positions the head of the anchor into an optimum position in the 8" wide concrete stem wall without creating excessive horizontal forces. The SB7/8x24HDG is designed to maximize performance with minimum embedment of 18".

Hot Dipped Galvanized Coating Information
Hot-Dip Galvanizing is applied after the products are fabricated. The coating weight increases with material thickness. The minimum average coating weight is 2.0 oz./ft2 (per ASTM A123 total both sides). These products require hot-dip galvanized fasteners (fasteners which meet the specifications of ASTM A153). Anchor bolts are hot-dip galvanized per ASTM F2329.
