Application Technique and Guidelines
- Remove roll from shipping carton
- Remove non-adhesive protective backing
- Save protective wrapping
- Find starter strip and peel approximately 8-12" of film away from roll
Without Automatic Applicator
- Kneel on floor
- Place roll on floor
- Place 8-12" strip toward you adhesive side down
- Smooth 8-12" strip of film from center of film outward
- Slowly push roll another 12"
- Smooth again from center
- Push of kick roll until desired area is covered
- Smooth as described above every 12"
- Using a sharp blade cut the film
- Fold a 1" strip of film back on itself for easy restarting
- Place remaining roll in protective wrapping and carton
With Automatic Applicator
- Follow applicator instructions included in package
- Film is for one time use only
- Do Not Apply on hard surfaces such as hardwood, ceramic tile, linoleum/VCT, marble, etc.
- Do Not Apply Film if Carpet or Subsurface is Damp
- Rising moisture that is prevented from escaping may cause discoloration of carpet fibers
- Concrete floors can present unacceptable moisture conditions
- Do Not Apply Film Over Newly Laid Carpet Where Adhesive Has Been Used
- Area should be ventilated for 48-72 hours
- If adhesive is used, do not apply film until adhesive is completely dry
