Jiffy Seal® 140/60 60 mil, polyester reinforced, peel and stick sheet waterproofing membrane for use on foundation walls, decks,
balconies, bathrooms, terraces, split slabs, parking structures and anywhere a positive waterproofing membrane may be needed.
This membrane has a double silicone treated release film on the top that keeps the membrane from adhering to itself while on the roll.
The release liner has a unique “Zip Strip” serration on both edges, which allows an adhesive-to-adhesive lap bond between each sheet
that bonds instantly.
- Jiffy Seal is environmentally safe and meets NIOSH/OSHA manufacturers standards and regulations
- Jiffy Seal is reinforced and provides superior puncture resistance and strength over other sheet membranes
- Jiffy Seal membranes are inert, inorganic and will never rot, decay or be affected by bacteria/fungus
- When properly applied, Jiffy Seal systems provide protection for the life of the structure
- Jiffy Seal requires no curing period. It can be applied over a wide temperature range and then can be immediately overlaid or backfilled
- Jiffy Seal gives the design professional the advantage of a strong reinforced waterproofing membrane that can be applied down to 25 degrees F (-4 degrees C)
- A unique “Zip Strip” in the polyethylene release film along both edges of the roll provides both a built-in overlap seam guide and a self-adhering overlap, eliminating the need for a joint seal tape or compound process
- There is no paper backing to remove during installation
- Jiffy Seal products are totally cold-applied over a wide temperature range
- Molecular bonding of seams forms Jiffy Seal into a monolithic membrane over or around the entire surface being waterproofed
- Protecto Wrap’s high-quality control guarantees a uniform thickness over the entire project
Cured Wall
If your wall is fully cured use PW6000 Water Based primer. Coverage can be up to 250 square feet depending on the porosity of the substrate.
Un-Cured Wall
If the wall has recently been poured you must wait 7-10 days, depending on climate conditions in your area, before applying the
PW6000 primer. Failure to do so may cause the waterproofing to bubble and not stick.
Please Note:Protecto Wrap #80 Green Primer can be used allowing you to apply the waterproofing membrane to an un-cured wall.
