In making the choice to purchase a caulking gun, one has to consider how often they are going to use this particular tool and what kind of caulking or glue you are going to use. If you are going to use a high density sealant or caulk like the Sonneborn NP1 you want to pick a caulking gun with a high trust ratio. If you are using a caulking that flows easy then one of the lower thrust ratio will work. Of coarse other factors such as how often you will be using the glue or caulking gun should be considered. That being said if you are just looking for one tool you can't really go wrong buying the best when you consider the economical price of even the best models.
