3M Duct Tape 3900 is a general purpose, conformable cloth duct tape made with polyethylene film over cloth scrim and rubber adhesive.
A good choice for general maintenance, wrapping, sealing and protecting.
3M Duct Tape 3900 is a polyethylene backing that resists moisture prolonging the tape bond in moist or humid environments. The rubber
adhesive sticks well to many surfaces. It is a versatile tape for many applications. This tape is conformable and can be applied to
irregular surfaces. The backing has good tensile strength for tough applications. Easy hand tear. Individual roll wrap preserves integrity
of the roll with less waste and easy identification.
Typical physical and performance characteristics include: thickness: 7.7 mils, adhesion to steel: 56 oz./in. width, tensile strength:
22 lbs./in. width, elongation at break: 15%, temperature use range: Up to 200°F.
- High tack adhesive for good quick stick to many surfaces.
- Conformable and tears easily by hand. Available in seven colors for color coding.
- Tested according to UL 723, ASTM E84.
- Transportation, aerospace, automotive, commercial vehicle, RV, bus, truck, ship yards, military, metal working, furniture,
electronics, solar, trailer manufacturing and woodworking.
- Sealing, holding, bundling, reinforcing, identifying, tabbing, wrapping, splicing and protecting.

- Discontinued: These are products we are no longer stocking. However they may be available as a special order. Please call 800-323-2999 if you have any questions.
